I shall start this post with a few myth busters. Here goes
- People Who clear JEE are GODS - No, They are NOT. They might be smart people (Next myth) they're certainly not GODS
- All IITians are Smart and can solve any problem in the world - Again, if smart = Solve Like a hundred differential equations in JEE syllabus within JEE time, maybe. If smart also includes common sense and other such "trivial" stuff, then definitely NO.
- IITians must be socially responsible and spread awareness - This is a social myth, and I don't think it's a very good Idea, either. I'll be explaining this below
What i am about to narrate here Is a TRUE incident and I will follow it up with proof.
It's another boring day of, what else, the LOOONG summer vacation and I am extremely frustrated. The only thought I had was to rage about something, something so absolutely absurd that in the process it would shed some light about the unspoken truths to the world.
On a normal day, I'd be content with trolling on the freshie forum or talking to magga about One piece or some weird ass anime/manga. Today was different, I had to do something. It was almost like super hero made, where there is this insatiable need to bitch about life to yourself, thinking your only reason to exist is to save the masses from that cliched Villain. Getting back your girl is your chief priority, but I didn't have any such immature motives here.
So, while I was searching for my "damsel in distress" I found this beautiful forum, None other than the Mechanical Engineering group, where there was a curious little post in which every active member on that group was Debating and trying to get at the others' throats. Being the savior I was, I decided to step in. The Post people were debating on and, I am pasting this, was

Correct me if I am wrong, Is tis what is expected out of the smartest people of the country?
The government Spends Infinite money on AIDS awareness in villages, I think it'd be better if they spent it on IITs and other urban folk, who seem to take the moral high ground on this issue, while not having a CLUE about what it is.
This was exactly what I had needed and now, filled with a sense of purpose I educated the masees there, but I suddenly realized that I was destined to be an Anti-hero, not a hero so I did what any good anti-hero would do, I decided to experiment. This gave me a very artemis-fowl feeling, but I was OKAY with it. So here is my post on the group.

Any sane person after the previous post, would have reported this as spam and just show me the finger, but NO. They just HAD to like it and comment about it. Curiously most of them were more worried about blowjobs and porn rather than the fact that my post was COMPLETE BULLSHIT.
